Green dot and PayPal supports transfer of money between themselves. This agreement happens way back in 2009 till date is still active. Green dot is owned by a different company, same as PayPal. Green dot can also be use to achieve similar things that PayPal does, but in this scenario of transfer funds from Green dot to PayPal, Green dot is just a service having it’s retailer in some locations through which custom barcode linked to your account can be use to add money to your PayPal.

1). Go-to your browser and visit Paypal.com, login by providing username and password.

2). From the dashboard click on “My Account” tab and then proceed to click on “Add Funds” under it.

3). Choose “Add Funds From MoneyPak” and enter your number on Add Funds option.

4). Provide your personal information including name, address, date of birth, and social security number (SSN). Then click on continue to make confirmation from the window that opens.

5). Complete the set-up by opening your email ID and responding to the confirmation message that has been sent there.

6). Once the account is set, add money from Green dot account to your PayPal account.
